National register of road transport operators Public website
The National register of road transport operators is an information system operated by the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic and established in compliance with the national act No. 111/1994 Coll., as amended. The main purpose of the system is to create a single database of information on road transport operators and taxi drivers, which is used by the administrative authorities dealing with the road transport agenda. In order to facilitate and make the exchange of information on road transport operators more efficient the register is connected with similar information systems operated by other Member States.
You are now on the public website of the National register of road transport operators, which publishes data on the road transport operators requested by the law to be public. These are identification details of the road transport operator, details of the authorization, number of vehicles, details of the Community licence and details regarding the transport manager.
A legal entity or a natural person may request an extract of the data from the register regarding the person in question. Any other person can be provided with the afore-mentioned extract regarding any legal entity or a natural person only with a written permission of the subject in question. The request considering the extract of data from the register has to be filed with the adminsitrative authority with local competence, which is in case of road haulage and road passenger transport operators the Regional Authority. In case of taxi service operator the request has to be filed with the municipal office of a municipality with extended powers or the Municipality of the capital city of Prague, respectively.
